hid problems

So my hid ballast went out so I took the one from my fog light and used that and it was working and then I started driving and it went out again. I don't know why my ballasts keep going out. Do you guys have any idea what's wrong? I love the hid look but I can't keep replacing them lol.

Xentec. And no open wires. The connectors it came with didn't fit correctly so I had to splice in to the factory harness and taped everything up with electrical tape and contacted the seller and they were in the process of sending me the right connectors and this is when it all happened.

they are, even though i used them too with no issues, they didn't last long. also they don't put out the full power, so light bulbs will not put out the right color nor output.
