hid in projector problem GRRR
so i get my new projectors and seperate hid kit in, and i hooked everything up after reading endless amounts of info on here. My halos, leds, and high beams work correctly, but the hid light is not working. It will come on for a split second and then turn off. I switched the ballasts and it did the same thing. The ballast makes a quick zzzz sound and then stops. Please help

hmmmm thats usually an indication that the bulbs are burnt out,
did you buy the HID kit brand new?
that ZZZZt sound is your ballasts working, and trying to ignite the gasses in the bulb with a high voltage spark, but as your bulbs slowly wear out, the electrodes wear down, making the gap between them further and further apart, until eventually you dont have enough voltage to span the gap and ignite....

well i tried changing over to 20amp fuses and it still does the same thing. On top of that, one of the halos burnt out. YEAH. this sux... i guess i'll be sending the kit back for new bulbs and while im doing that i'll try to change the halos at the same time. Are the aftermarket bulbs for the halos junk too, or is it just the ones that come with the projectors?
