The car had a Spec 3+ Clutch w/ Spec Alum Flywheel. Not sure wtf you people did to it. Car ran 12's, though.

I knew this would get good. This car's the reason why I a) never trust Carfax and b) never buy used cars.

I do wish we could have salvaged the Recaros though. Car'd look good with blue seats.

This is why I try to stick to one owner used car purchases. Or better yet, executive vehicles from last year left on the lot marked down 10 grand with only 900 miles on them

FYI there is a red 09 cobalt ss with the vin number one number higher than mine that never sold with like 99 miles on it. Guess how much they want...16K. Get rid of this orange hunk and fly out to LA to pick up a ss/tc NO OWNER car.

 

I still have pieces of that car in my garage. Namely 1 melted piston. That might be why the warranty is void come to think of it....

 

I like that the track numbers are still on the car for the mailbox hit, lol.

FWIW, the car has a built bottom end ready to take power. Raised compression, too.

well im getting into this thread late but my moms jeep had $10900 worth of damage when it was pretty much brand new 200 miles on it and when she traded it in we checked the carfax on it it said it had a clean title...

carfax don't mean ****. the stealership i work at sold a 06 SS/SC that was a new car but one of the lot guys sideswiped a pole. we fixed it, sold it and didnt disclose it to the buyer...just sayin
