i dont think my car is running right!
so i put on my stage2 maybe 2 weeks ago, just did a custom duall pass endplate. it seems like it runs good but when im racing some of my friends it dosent seem like it doing well. i raced my friend 09 vw gti and we were side by side. i heard that the stage 2 is suppose to bump u up to 40 horses and i feel it but just cant really see it if that makes sense. also, when im doing pulls or racing i pop my hood open and look at the filler neck and it allways low. there like a little stream in there but even if i take the cap off it stays like that. i fill it up all the way and drive it and check it again and it down......what ya think?
i have a dual pass. i dont have a gauge to tell me the iat. i have a water temp sensor after the filler neck. when i do pull the highest i seen it go was 126. then once i did the dual pass, it would be around 100
doing the dual pass, did you invert the cores? did you bleed your coolant system?
if you didn't do either of these your not cooling the intake air, or not very well creating high IAT2s and retarding timing which thus leads to less power

those temps are fine?....read what those temps are...they don't mean ANYTHING

ya i know^ yes 42s, 2.8. i did swap the lamovas the middle one going in the outer ones going out. bleed the syestem? i just pulled the heater hoses off and just let the coolant run out of it. is there a certain way to do that?
oo true true, yea we need iat2 temps, the water temps arent going to tell us whats really happening
after doing the dual pass you should keep a jug of dex cool 50/50 with u and everytime you get to where yor going you should check the coolant neck and refill, do this for a week and just keep checking
air in the system will lead to spikes in iat2's, and a loss of power.... and i dont recommend running a 2.8 on 42's but apparently thats a debatable topic these days

basically run the pump(in your case turn the car on) and just sit there and keep filling the neck up and it will bleed its self, this can take a while...just keep an eye on it...also even tho is seems to be done, just over the next few days keep checking the filler neck to make sure the level hasn't dropped
I ran 2.7 with 42s for 20k+ miles now I have even more done and motor is still goin strong...it can be done just have to know what to look for and not be stupid(too much to ask for from 90% of this forum though)
you need to get all of the air out of the system...
