but on ZZP's site, the only option is to buy their Intercooler along with their pipes for $700 somethin. There used to be a thing to buy just the IC, or the IC for lowered cars, but now there's just this >.<

sooo... dealership pulled the spark plugs today an said they're trashed, along with the IC, BUT on the good side, my NGK 3787's came in today so tomorrow I can have em throw em in tomorrow an see if it fixes it

 

so.. I'm thinkin.. in order to save a couple hundred dollars... If the deal was just shitty spark plugs, an a busted IC, when I take my plugs tomorrow, an it runs good except for a limp mode and a (probable P0101 code hopefully..) Ima see if they'll release it, so I can install the IC myself an save myself ~$200.. AND I can do my Springs/rotors/brakes at the same time

 

I dunno if they'll release it tho.. I think dealerships have a thing about releasing cars that arent at 100%... Yall think they would let it go, if I paid for watever they did already??

 

It's your car, not theirs. I f you tell them "that's all boys" they have to let it go. Unless they plan to work on it for free from that point on.

 

I know some dealerships won't install aftermarket parts so if you got the tr8 they may not install it

 

They said they'll do the IC, but they WONT install my springs or rotors/brakes its all good, I got a stock replacement comin instead anyway.. I've heard other dealerships say they wont release a car until they're done with it sooo.... meh.. plus I dont know EVERYTHING thats all wrong with the balt yet I'm just HOPING its jus the Spark plugs an the IC

 

I did read that. Given the phrasing of that portion of the post and being half asleep, I misinterpreted it, my bad.

I did catch that post, but when you use terminology like "couldn't stop smiling" it made me wonder how much effort you really put into avoiding the cat. I hear ya though, it sucks when animals play pong with themselves in the middle of the road. You more or less have to pick a line and hope they don't turn into your vehicle.

I digress though, and no problem regarding the insurance advice. It sounds like your getting it sorted though which is good to hear.
