I hate my cobalt

This is so ******* annoying. The car is idling at 3K RPM now, ive cleaned the throttle body, cleaned the maf sensor, i have no CEL's, i put a brand new intake. Ive reset the PCM god knows how many times. There are no vacuum hoses loose. The damn car runs teh exact same way with throttle body off and disconnected. Now the ****** is going to the dealership. I might just trade it in.

no reason to get nasty...just maybe you should of had a back up plan before you touched something you may have not known fully about?

it doesnt have anything to do with it being a base model... And to the OP you are kind of over reacting, to say you hate your car becasue one thing went wrong is ridiculous. Just take it to the dealer and see if they can sort it out. And from what i have heard messing with your throttle body always gets you into trouble

My guess is you fried your TAC(throttle body) they are spring loaded and run at 2500-3000rpm in default mode. Not sure what you did but it sounds broke.

you probably messed up the angle of the throttle blade when you cleaned it.

my base has been GREAT to me.
seems a lot of people have problems after cleaning their tb. seems touchy.
but not a big deal to me, i bought a brand new car for 13,500. it has over reached my expectations.

why did you clean the maf anyway?
im at 35000+ with aftermarket intake, and no problem. (havent touched it, besides intake swap)
its not like cleaning it will make a 2.2 faster......?
