I love changing my oil 3 times in 1 month

Well,I decided to degrease my engine bay and hose it off.As I'm detailing the nooks & crannys(sp?),I notice my dipstick was NOT in all the way.Now I know what your thinking,Just drain the oil and replace it since you didnt run your engine.Well, I ran my engine to move my car so the water circulated throughout the engine and I didn't catch it till afterwards. So,bassically I had to drain the oil,put cheap **** in it,run it for 5 minutes, pull the filter out and clean the housing, new filter, then refill with 5 quarts of 5w-30 syntec and double check the filter housing for no more water. Now your saying,"well you said 3 times this month *******".Yes I just changed it a couple weeks ago. That was a nice $60 **** up I did.Good thing I caught it though otherwise i probably would of seized it
or spun a bearing at least.

Plus I dunno if this is in the wrong section so MODS,I'm sorry if you have to move it.
Then you can make an Inconvenience section

Wow not one view o well

How much water do you think actually went down that little hole with the dip stiick still sitting in it.
I dont think it would of been a problem unless you held the hose nozzle up to the hole and sprayed it straight in.
The oil has condensatiion in it from heating and cooling but gets evaporated off while you are driving.

But better safe then sorry, for the expense of a oil change.

:Note to self: Cover and secure all electrical and mechanical inlet devices before power washing motor. :End Of Note:

Now my question is dood. is the motor nice and blinging now? if its not that would of been a total waste of money and time.

Lol damn that sucks but like the other guy said, better safe than sorry. I work at a dealership in town so dont feel bad. Ive seen some really stupid **** lol. like this one guy who didnt change his oil in about 6000 mile so he wanted oil and filter change and ran for a few min inbetween about ( if i remember right) 5 times? *******. we did it twice and gave him the oil in containers and the 3 other filters and told him to be on his way bc it was good to go (hate ppl doing **** like that when we are packed up) lol. Dont sweat it thinking you are an idiot bc your not and most likely ive seen it or worse it at work. Tiss all good brotha
