I need some help

I have a 06' Cobalt SS/SC (still factory) with about 57600 miles on it. I need some ideas as to what might be wrong. The other day I was driving and it hesitated really bad and then when I got back into it the check engine light came on. Went and got the code pulled off and it was P0300 random cylinder misfire. Some other issues are fuel mileage has gone down and lack off power sometimes. Also if I am just sitting there and I just pop the gas pedal there is a delay before the engine rpms increase.

I would appreciate any ideas. Thx

Could be a clogged injector.

So would a fuel system cleaner be a good place to start?

I changed the spark plugs and that got rid of most of it. Still a little there so on to the fuel filter and I hope that resolves the rest of it.

Fuel filter will cause a random misfire.
