i was drivin down the freeway and my DIC flashed power steering, then went blank than showed dashes all the way across... then my security light came on....

i shut down the car at my house and started it up and it seemed fine any ideas???

 

happened a second time tonight sept this time ALL the gauges went dead


PLEASE HELP, i have NO IDEA what this is......

 

take that thing into the service center

 

why are you driving around with a new car knowing there is an issue? just take it in dude fix it and then you can let us know what it was.

 

Im workin on getting it to the dealer BUT (read on)

i tell em what the deal is and they say well its intermittant so they cant figure it out... that is why i am asking here to see if anyone else has a GOOD dealer that has told them what the problem is... ive had elec issues with this car since a week or 2 after i got it and they dont fix any of the major problems..., just the little stuff....



for instance,


Problem = battery wasnt holding a charge

Fix = Charge the batt. problem still exists

seen the SAME dealer about this 2 times...

This problem hasnt been taken to them yet but i work from 6 am to about 6 pm so i dont have time to get to the dealer till a major issue happens, such as the car no longer running (im on bad terms with the boss so i
have to have a good reason to not show )

 

I had similar problems with my dash lights. Turned out to be the ignition cylinder.

 

What exactly was your stuff doin?, i want all the info so when i tell the dealer they will look into it rather than beatin around the bush...


another prob i forgot to mention

Problem = Clutch slippage

Fix = Tell me that they tranny guy just quit and they dont want to give my car to a new guy .... BS

 

I've only ahd it happend once while I was driving, all the dash lights went out, gauges zeroed out and then came back on...hasn't happened in the last 9 months tho

Engine would start no prob. No power anything (all exterior lights and interior gauges)

That's funny, cause when mine when out that's all that happened. It was freaky as hell cause I was on the highway heading to my cabin and my friend in the passanger seat didn't even notice? Hmm

 

Yeah that happened to me today, i was goin to get a car wash and gas and my dad was with me, i started goin look look look, he saw it, i had told him about the problem the last time and he didnt buy it go fig... i guess ill call the dealer and ask em if they have heard of it, and see when they can look at it. Oh hell i guess that means ill be drivein the rental again SHI*

 

they reflash sometyhing it happened to me like 6 months ago.... it would happene about every 5 secconds

 

whoa looks like it is a major problem...
