Idling problem, car shutting off

So last summer I had to replace my fuel pump twice. The other day my car died on me, I assumed it was my fuel pump, but it's not. Car was running really rich and just died. It'll start every once in awhile, but will only stay on for about a minute. Could this be the fuel regulator? Any ideas?

Will it start and stay running at all? Or like dying at stop lights?

These cars are well known for carbon inside the throttle body causing a bouncy idle and can cause the car to die.

Need more info on whats going on.

It will barely start at all. I think it's with the fuel pump

Hook a fuel pressure gauge up to the Schrader valve on the fuel rail and see what the pressure is.
