Yeah, the title sums it up well. I went through the car wash with my antenna on still. I was in a hurry and couldnt get it off so went through the wash anyways. I'm dumb.

Got out of the car wash and the antenna had been pulled out and was dangling by the cord. I took a closer look after work and the large metal bracket part of the antenna snapped. Any suggestions or info where I can find the repair?

P.S.- I already ordered a MpX shorty antenna so this doesnt happen again.

 

Wierd, ive gone through car washes with mine on and no problem. though mine were touchless car washes, but they still say to remove the antenna

 

these antennas are real tight i had to use pliers to unscrew mine sucks man

 

did it break the antenna itself or the part that attached to the rear quarter panel? if it's just the antenna part, go to auto zone.

 

No, unfortunately it wasnt just the antenna that broke. The piece holding the antenna to the quarter panel broke...
