Good day, I have a cobalt ss 06,

I set my shift light to 6000. and when i set it to below the red led lights are always on but never switches off when I hit the 6000. rpm, then when I set it to above, the lights are always off and never turn on at 6000. rpm..

I have set the annu to on.
Ive tried "06000" but it jumps back to 60000 if I set it that way.


can you please assist me on setting up my shift light ? thank you.

 

I did mine like 6000.

 

I have mine set like that, but when I am driving and I reach 6000. rpm the lights just doesn't come on.

I also have my data rate set to 1

 

Well does it say "annunciator on" when it first starts up?

 

I had this problem when i was first trying to figure it out.. Heres what you do...

make sure annunciator is on!
When your picking the annunciator, dont pick shift time, pick RPM... set it at whatever rpm you want it to turn ON at, and then select ABOVE.. Thats it... I have an lsj so im at 06800 so by the time i react im shifting right at 7k

oh and btw data rate should be at 1.. 1 is fastest

Finally!! thanks a lot ddsscobalt !!! this thing have been giving me a headache for weeks now ! and it was as easy as what you said, its working perfect now !!! hope this could help other people with the same problem, once again thanks to everyone who helped out.

 

i still need to adjust thinks on my ceptors..like my data rate if not already set to 1 and such alttitude and waht not
