i got this code today, 40 min after the install, everything was checked and is tight, dont think its a leak i gunned it about an hour after the install at redline, stage 2, 7 grand and i got it, then after it went away and my bud had a scanner and cleared it for me and has not returned, could this be the comp still getting used to more air, i did notice at first the car kinda delayed in acceleration, but after driving tonite and floorin it it hasnt done it since and no light??, other than that boy does she scream and i feel an increase in acceleration.
thats what im thinking, it turned off just before we scanned it, then once cleared i took it for a boot to buy smokes and gunned it, no cel, no delay in throttle, punched it here and there, still no cell, car pullin nice, then on the way home i ripped in on a nice staright away, didnt get to redline though, but no cel still, and still no more throttle delay, i will play with it tomorrow and see how it goes, im gettin ngkbkr7e plugs, hopefully that will help and preven any cels from comin back, but like i said everything was check during install and seemed fine.

Hopefully they are gone for good.
stated her up in the moring let her run for 10 min, drove slowly to tims for a coffee b4 work, let her run for 20, gunned it the whole way to work in every gear, no cell no slight throttle delay, hopefully as stated abouve the computer was still learning how to deal with the added air, i love that whine holy f^&**
havnt seen the cel since, but i do notice the car bogs when i shift to second once in a while, everything is tight and it happens at wot or normal driving, i searched and it seems to go away after quite a bit of driving for others, i hope this happens to me lol.
thats one expensive intake man...but if theres no CEL guaranteed i guess its worth it. i know like 95% of the people here get a CEL from K&N, like myself.

all u have to do is disconnect the negative terminal of the battery when installing, and instead of punching her after 20 min, wait about 40 min to an hour and if you have any probs with a cel or bogging disconnect the left terminal one more time for half an hour, now everything works perfect, no cel, no bog, its awesome, just gotta think about how things work sometiems

cel just came back on today, after driving hard, but, not too sure why, everything seems good, it ONLY comes onwhen i get close to redline, and soemtimes it dosnt i dunno, gonna grab a scanner and delete it myself im just amazed about how sensitive these cars are to a fricken intake lol. its a lil chilly today, maybe that has something to do with it.

When the CEL comes on is it hesitating when you hit the gas? How is the car acting when it comes on? If the car acts normal I would think it's the p171 lean code and it's nothing to worry about. If the car hesitates then it's most likely the p103 code you got last time and there is something wrong with the airflow getting to the engine (unmetered air getting in ie. leak, bad MAF). I never get the lean code anymore and it seems that the reflash fixed the p171 code. Gimme a call later if you want
dont tell me this man...it says on there website no cel...i bought it...if i get a cel as much as you do am i able to return it...and how long did it take till your recieved it
