jerks and more jerks

so i just got home from vacation and i wanted to go for a little cruise. Now the car has been sitting for a week now,so i let it warm up for about 30-40 mins and head out. Everything is fine and dandy till this morning i get gas and no matter what gear im in when i go to speed up the car just jerks and jerks as the exhaust pops and pops...any ideas what it is. Going to the dealership tmr i just hope they have room for me. Any ideas would be helpful.

Thanks

You're misfiring sounds like

Does your "Check Engine" light flash when it does it?

contaminated fuel....could be water in the fuel, along with anything else that worked it's way into the tank. A word of advice though, if it is bad fuel, the dealership will probably not cover it under warranty...

Yeah, use heat like an open flame and you won't have to worry about your car jerking anymore. Hell, you won't have to worry about your car at all! BOOOOOOOM.

thats what I was wondering??

I had bad gas once....it just pinged and the car was a bit slower. Once I ran an entire tank of good stuff through it was fine

Mine clogged about a month ago too. If your exhaust tone changed, I'd say your about right.
