Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

Hi. I have a 2010 Cobalt. It has a problem with the gauges going down to nothing then floating back and forth. The radio isnt working. No one seems to know what the problem is.

Check your battery connections and fuses both under hood and the passenger side center console.

Could also be a bad ground connection. These can be tough to find. There are a few ground connections under the hood. Probably a bunch more under the dash. I would just inspect/clean some of these to the extent you can locate them. Somebody probably needs to get a meter on some of the wires to the gauges and duplicate the failure to see what is going on.

my car did this about a year ago, the gauges would just start fluttering all over and do stupid **** then flat line... it seemed to sort itself out though as it hasn't done it since, I good thing too as I was getting so pissed lol.
