So last night my car threw code P0128 "Coolant Temp Below Thermostat Regulating Temp". Turns out my ECM needed an update (there is a TSB out for this) but would it let the techs do it? of course not! i now have a new ECM on the way..this is the 3rd time i take my car in this month. This could explain why the westers garage guys had a hard time communicating with my ECM.. Regardless, do you guys think my car will run like ass until i go for a another tunning session with a tuned TCM and a stock ECM?

So far i have had the following replaced:
Sunroof Module
Steering Column
Door Panels
Rotors
and now the ECM.... all of this and only 21000 miles on the car.

 

I dont see why it would affect it, assuming they have whatever they need to read your pcm (ie. credits, hptuner cable, ya dig?)
Just be grateful you know what the issue is.
