my remote hasn't been functioning 100% as of recent, and 2 days ago it stopped working all together
whenever I key my car open, the damn alarm goes off haha

i went to the dealer, and they said they would need both key FOB's to diagnose it, so of course I go back the next day with them, and they "can't replicate the problem"

the service guy said it wasn't the battery because the car would need to be reflashed for the new transponder or something

 

mine died last fall. i think it's the battery. can't seperate the damn thing tho to get the battery. i just used my 2nd fob. it was really annoying tho.

 

Mine died a couple months ago, I managed to get it open with a screw driver and replace the battery. I had noticed, however, that the housing for the battery had literally come off the chip. I stuck it back in, but it was still loose.

Closed it back up anyway, it work for a couple of days and then died again.

Using the backup now.
