Lease Return - Curb checks on rims??

I will be soon returning my 2007 leased 2.4 SS and I was wondering if I could get charged for curb checks on the rims..
I have looked on Google and some people claim that you get charged the price of a rim sometimes...

FYI, I am not getting a new car from that same dealership (since I know that this could matter somehow)

Do you have examples of charges you guys got when returning a leased car with scratched rims, if any?

Thx

Here are some pics of the actual scrubs:

They should definitely be able to charge you for that. You damaged it and they have to fix it.

I have no leasing experience but I'm going to say they won't notice, I'm basing this off how they look at cars when you trade them in, I traded in my Astro van with a cracked block where the starter was, all they did was glance at the outside, test the a/c and heat, then drove it around the lot once

If that's the only marks on the car your good.. Did you get your lease return tool with the circles on it to gauge the scratches, burn holes, tread depth, etc.. ?

it seems to me that all this is very dealer dependent.. some dealers seem to go the car and others don't..

If ever they do charge me, I could live with at $100-200 charge, but if they start charging be brand new OEM rims after returning my car, that would suck pretty bad

I was pretty much asking if anyone knew the kind of penalty ($$) they could charge me; if anyone had examples saying "i returned a lease with 2 curb checks and it cost me $125" for example

thanks for the help guys

doesn't mention anything about rims..correct me if i'm wrong

(or are rims considered as a part of the body of the car when using the scratch gauge)
