Lemon!
Lemon!
So after 5 months and 7+ trips to the dealer for the CEL coming on for misfire codes, I am sending chevy the "last chance" lemon letter. Basically I am teling them they got 10 days to fix my car or I want a refund. This follows the brake squeal, broken shift cable, loose panels, both doors rub the paint off the body of the car, squeeky sunroof, noise upon start up, coolant sensor, alignment. I think that is all of it. But enough is enough. It only has 3800 miles!!! I love this car but it also ruined all chevys for me. Hopefully all u guys have better luck with urs. Its back to a japanese or german cars for me.
let's have a lemon party

I got paint rubbing off too on both my doors, thats not enough to make me return the car... My quick fix is a little bottle of touch up paint
. All the 09's rub paint off the door jams, the trick is not to slam your doors and they'll be fine.

These are all relitavely minor things, but I guess its the quantity , not the quality...
What do you mean by "Noise on startup" ?

I wonder whether or not you test drove the car and gave it a thorough inspection before you bought it...
Things like doors rubbing, brake squeal, loose panels, alignment, squeaky sunroof, and wierd noises on start up are kind of things that usually are there from the date of purchase, especially with less than 4k miles on it... Sounds like you didn't do your homework and you got hosed.

Wow, you're a moron.
Agreed, and you going to the cbus meet?
I <3 you.
x2. Most of those I doubt would suddenly pop up after you bought it. Doors rubbing is def something that would be there when you checked it out, if you did.

I hated my car after the 14th trip to the service dept.
But then after warranty expired, I just drove it till the problems stopped. My car fixed itself, no lie, lmao. Or else it's fucked beyond repair and I don't know it yet. Haha.

With those issues listed the lemon law wont work. If it can NOT be fixed then probably. You have a warrnaty for a reason. These cars are NOT pieced together very well. I have body panels sticking out more than others and **** doesnt line up but you paid for a cheap car and you got one. lol. My ms3 had WAY better fit and finish, but I had this downpipe squeal and brought it to the dealer 4 times and it wasnt fixed, then it got totaled. Big deal it still performed right, its just the service department was too ******* stupid to listen to me that it was the downpipe. They said it was the belt. On top of that, I lived 2 hours from the dealer, so 8 hours total to drop my car off and then pic it up. PLUS all the gas. so stop ******* bitching and bring it to a different dealer. Sounds like they suck ass at fixing it anyway.
x2. A different dealer can make all the difference. There's one around here my buddy called to see if they installed stage 2 kits on ss/scs and they had no idea what he was talking about and said it doesn't exist and he was making it up, and if it did exist it would void his warranty. Next day he dropped by a different dealer and had an appointment next day for a stg 2 install.
