Letter to the Prez
I received a letter from the President of the car dealer talking about thier $100 referral program. This was my reply

Dear President:
Thank you for your letter regarding your referral program. Unfortunately I cannot participate in this program. Although I do like the vehicle, I brought it back to your service department to have a problem with the transmission resolved. Which they could not. I was told that the transmission wasn’t broke so they couldn’t fix it. “Maybe it needed to break in some more”. In my 52 years I have never heard of a transmission needing a break in period. In 1974 I graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute in Union. I worked as a mechanic for many years until I got into computer programming. I have owned a 1967 GTO with 450 horse power, a 1972 Nova with 400 horse power and many numerous other vehicles, some of which were raced at Englishtown. I am also on my third motorcycle. I am not a fool when it comes to cars. I have never owned a vehicle that shifted so badly. I will probably trade it in for a Jap car because they have transmissions that work properly. Thank you for the offer but I cannot comply. I wouldn’t want my friends to experience your service the way I have.

Yea, that's one way to put it. Feels like the synchros and dog teeth don't line up. Heavy duty ? That's what they want you to think.
