Limp home mode sucks!

Just got back from the dealer a few min ago. About 3 hours ago I was driveing it home and all the sudin the DIC said "Engen shutdown" and killed the motor, then I costed to a stop. I restarted the car and the DIC said "Power cut" And I had NO power at all. It sounded like it was runing on 2 cylinders at ideal and floored it had nothing!
Took it 3 blocks like that to the dealer and they had it for a few hours.
They gave it back runing like new and told me that the pluge on the TB came off. lol

Any one els have this problem?

Car only had 852 miles on it...

That would certainly put you in limp mode.

But that plug is a BITCH to get off, I can't imagine it was put on right at the factory if it just fell off on the road.

I dont know how hard it is to take it off my self. But thats what the tec said was the problem. He gave me all the codes to and they all where related to that plug. Oh well runs good now.
Did a 212 mile trip with no problems yet.

I had that problem with mine the 2nd week i had the car, back in June... I just stepped on the gas and the vibes of the engine must have knocked it off. It must not have been clipped on all the way. The Service Tech thought that I had revved the engine at redline too much or something and then he called back and said you must be lucky because it was the plug that came out of the TB and he's like when Italked with you I was trying to find out if you were racing with it revved it to 8k and if u blew the engine and i said no i was just driving normal. And then he had the nerve to tell me that the computer said I was doing 70mph and he told me I was speeding and i'm like the speed limit is 65mph

That sucks. Where is this plug located at? If it happens to me I'd rather do it myself or at least check first before spending a couple hours at the dealer
