List of problems.

Well just the other day I was driving down the highway when my balt starts binging at me, I look down and see that it claims the trunk is open. So I glance back and look, it looks fine.

I get to a gas station, get some gas and check the lid. Its locked tight. Get back in the car, and surely enough *bing bing bing* trunk ajar.

So I'm guessing I have a messed up sensor. Because It does it everytime I start the car now and sometimes while driving.

My warranty is up soon, so i'll be visiting the dealer with a list of warranty work soon:

Trunk Sensor
Interior Dome Light fell apart
Crazy ass gas gauge
Swaybar link disconnected from strut (it just swings around now)
Corroded/Bad battery terminal (becomes disconnected)

I'm not 100% on what you mean by crazy ass gas gauge, but if you mean what I think mine does it too. Says you have half a tank when you get in, and then your down a quarter at the end of your driveway, then goes back up after your driving a while. Btw I had a base cobalt b4 and it did the same thing.

Oh, the memories

Right now it just swings around and hits random **** down there..

One thing it likes to do is bounce off the axle making a quiet clanging and grinding noise.

The nut is completely gone, so I have no way to get it back on myself. And even if i did have the nut, I have no impact wrench

The gas gauge problem is well now, there's a notice out on it. They replace the sensor. I had it done, like an hour job or so since they need to drop the gas tank, etc.
