Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

loose c v nuts

is it just me or is any one else have this problem the c v shaft nut on my cobalt keeps backing of ihave been to the dealer on many occasions they have changed shafts ,used tread lock and still now help plus i keep hearing a click sound in the front when i step on the gas any help will be great

yeah gotta love how gm didn't put a cotter pin on that.... mine were loose too when I broke my axle I found that out... but I don't think they've re-loosened yet

They don't use cotter pins on any of there front wheel drive cars even there RWD cars with independent rear suspension don't use cotter pips, further more I don't I have ever seen a FWD car that has used cotter pins.
