LOUD clunks

Leaving work today..i noticed some loud clunking. My car has always clunked a little (figured it was probably the problematic steering columns rattling). Well leaving work it was ten times worse. I can feel it by my gas pedal..or maybe closer the the center console. It cluncks when I hit bumps and it clunks when i jerk the wheel side to side while driving. Im not gonna look at it till later today when I get up..but im gonna throw out what i think it is. Im thinking it could either be a loose exhaust banging around, something wrong with the sway bar, something wrong with the tie rods, or loose rim. Does anyone have any ideas..it would be appreciative. Im gonna look at it in about 5 hours when I get up..If i find the problem im gonna post it...thanks

^^^----the bar should be mounted tightly (no up and down movement) in its mount bushings too

could possibly be lower control arm bushings too

I just got finished looking at it...found absolutely no problems. Everything is tight and does not move..all the bushings look good. The only thing I did notice however was the drive shaft rod going out from both tires (one goes into the tranny...the other goes into a rod..then into the tranny...has a little play in it. You can move them up and down a TINY bit...and you can here the noise...is that normal for those to move a little like that?
