LSJ will not start.
Hi all, I have an 06 LSJ with roughly 40,000 miles on the clock.
Me and dad made our rounds throughout town today, then stopped at Autozone to buy a tire checker and some engine oil. When we come back out to the car, dad turns the key on and tries to start it. The starter just "bumps" a couple of times then the car stops to try to crank altogether. It gives a "low fuel" warning and the fuel gauge refuses to move.
So, I turn the key off and try it again. Same thing, except this time it saws "power steering" then "low fuel"? WTF?
After I turn the key off and wait a few seconds and then the Tach, Speedometer, and Fuel gauge "jump" a few millimeters.
So, I disconnected the negative battery cable, reconnected it, and tried it again. The same thing. Right now it's sitting at a local shop and I honestly have no clue as to what is going on. The OBD scanner is just giving an "error" and not giving me anything useful. Help.

An OBD2 scanner should still be able to connect though. "error' sounds like it cannot connect. This really does sound like a battery issue. What makes you certain its not? Just trying to help you troubleshoot.

Changed the battery with no problem whatsoever.
I took a look and found that the PCM has some messed up connectors. Time to start straightening things out.
