Sorry for the dump question, my wife was driving and the car and the check engine light came on. 2 codes came up both pointing to me cleaning the MAF. I read the location is behind the fender liner on the drivers side, just wanted to make sure that is correct and if I need to know of anything else when it comes to cleaning it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The MAF? No the MAF is in the intake

 

Aren't there two? One right after filter box and one after intercooler? If that's not true, then what's the other one?

I think the SC's MAF was on the driver's side behind fender...

 

the 09 SS's MAF is in the intake and has two MAPs. One in the intake manifold and one in the lower charge pipe.
