Access is through the driver side wheel well.
Best to remove the wheel but if your good in confined spaces the front flap of the fender liner can be unscrewed and folded down.
Its easier with the wheel removed and the whole fender liner and the wheel turned left before removal.

It's on the tube right before the filter, I had this same problem with mine and it was because the MAF was dirty, sounds like a finger print or something. If it was something to bad it wouldn't idle properly, so if the car is just throwing that lean code, I'd get it reset and not worry about it.

Oh, and it's easier to take the wheel off and the plastic piece behind it to get to it than to take off the whole headlight, IMO

Clean the MAF, that should fix the idle jump. if it doesn't then try unpluging the battery and let it drain, and that should reset it and it should be fine. that's what I've had to do before and it usually works at least for a while. Doesn't sound like injectors would be the problem to me. I could be wrong though.
