If you are getting misfires only on #2 it should be a p0302 code. p0300 is a random cylinder misfire code. That being said what are your plugs gapped to? It could be injectors or plugs but either way if it is p0300 and not p0302 it shouldn't be anything to worry about. I get and clear this code pretty much everyday

Well the problem is the car is sputtering when going 2 second gear. or hard accerlation. Plugs cant be gapped , o reillys said they couldnt be gapped becuase of the iridium.

It would be easier to start with soapy water and spraying around your injectors. Get a boost leak tester and check for leaks. Chances are you will either expose an injector that isn't seated properly, or a bad o-ring on your injector housing. If there's no leaks, then I would go ahead and pull the plugs and see what your gap is.

I'm assuming your an lsj, correct? You shouldn't put iridiums in there anyway. A lot of people will argue with me on this point, b/c everyone thinks iridium is so ******* awesome. Go back to O'reilley or "Vato-zone" or wherever, get the NGK's that are suppose to go in that block and make sure to gap them properly.

Even the 1 step colder plugs are usually iridium, they just have a copper core. And you can gap them, you just have to use an actual gap tool instead of a tapered gap gauge

curious how this is working out for you..? This was the start of my nightmare, which ended up becoming a bad oil retaining ring on piston one...

still not sure if they were related issues, but always had a random misfire that was later related to cylinder 1 which caused sputtering...

tried switching out plugs and new fuel injectors....thought everything was fine, then had the plug blow out...

i was running the ngk iridiums myself

good luck...curious if your plugs and propper gapping will help

ps getting dyno'd has nothing to do with the sputtering unless your gonna get tuned while running on the dyno

Is it misfiring all the time, just at idle, or randomly?

Could be a bad injector not pushing enough fuel. If the misfire is specific to a cylinder just swap that injector with another one and see if the misfire follows.
