Right on. I'd get every cent i could out of them. Hopefully the pain is only temporary, but alot of people i hear of have life-long pains and aches. Go get 'em!

I learned my lesson in settling I got rearended like two years ago and I still feel the pain in my lower back. I got about $7800.00 out of the deal after lawyers fees and such.
All that money is gone though. I spent most of it on the chiropractor for my back pain.
I go to him a few times a month. Now my health insurance covers it so no more money out of pocket. $50.00 a visit sucks but it helps.

When you think about it. 7800 is not much money for maybe permanent damage to your body.

Man that sucks about the LS being T boned.

It doesn't matter if you are the best driver in the world. You are in the hands of the horrible drivers

I would have had over 10,000 but i needed a lawyer. THey suck when it comes to their fees, The I had to walk around in a neck brace and a Back brace for like two months and I couldn't work either. You are right the $7,800 I made is a little low for what happened. I kinda did get screwed. It will never happen again though. I learned my lesson. My back is getting better though I only really feel pain when the weather crappy out or when it's cold outside. Winter really suck for me.

Alright, I got my car back finally after a month!

Total cost was $12,000!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear god that is insane to me.

Car looks brand new now with new paint job and new front and back ends. Entire interior was cleaned and it smells like it is new. They didn't replace the battery and it was messed up and the car wouldn't start so they put in a new battery.

I'm still pissed I got hit because no matter what fixing up they do, my car was still hit and is messed up somehow.

The day I got it back it snowed like CRAZY! I wanted to take some after pictures cause it looked brand new again. Oh well.

If it makes you feel any better, last Saturday at 7:30 P.M., I was sitting at a red light with my parents in my 97' Taurus when the light turned green, I waited a couple seconds and then went into the intersection, some old broad in an Astrovan completely railroaded into my front end. Luckily, it didn't hit the engine and just took off the front bumper + all lights. However, if I had jumped the gun on the light, I wouldn't be typing this and my parents would be in serious condition if not dead.

Oh man!
Luckily you are fine. I don't know why, but I hate it more when old people cuase accidents like that because you know the reason is because they are old and can't think as well as a normal adult.

My cousin had someone smash into her new civic. Old lady who just kept going and didnt see anyone.

I had a call like taht though where my brother was driving and if he was forward a couple more feet I would be dead. The guy smashed head on into our van as my bro was turning left (was his fault). If he was turned more I would have been directly hit and probably dead because the guy was going around 60 or 70.

Glad you are okay though and it doesn't make me feel better when others get there cars hit. It always sucks and ruins driving for a while.
