My car's suspension is f*cked up!

So like alot of the people on here, everytime i hit a little bump my front suspension clunks really bad. That's not the biggest problem. What I noticed today looking at my car is that one side is lower than the other maybe bc i have the sportlines on there? When driving the car it pulls really bad to the side that is higher than the height it's supposed to be at. I measured the sizes of both back tires and the right side is almost .5" higher. Also when driving, my steering wheel is about 20 degrees off when driving straight. Also one of my friends that was driving with me says the car tilts to the right. I noticed it too but have no idea what's wrong. Could this be because i have never gotten an alignment when i got the springs? Or are my shocks blown? Please help bc i have to goto work and will check back later.
Thanks
Brian

bump before i leave for work

if it wasn't aligned after the drop, yes you could have very well worn something out ahead of it's time.

are you sure the springs are installed properly? if one springs isn't seated properly then it can cause one side to be higher and properly lead to you alignment problems.

1. You lowered your car without proper struts...probably blown your stockers.

2. No alignment, will **** up your steering, had that same problem on my old car.

3. I think you just learned the hard way, why you should lower your car the proper way, the 1st time...I mean ok stock struts are one thing (to me is dumb), but not getting an alignment???

not trying to be a dick or anything, but just throwing springs on there to "look" cool or whatever, not the best way to do it.

who installed your springs?

did this all happen after the installation of the springs or little time afterwards?

Well i just found out with mine that I have a bad front ball joint drivers side, I took mine in to get the alignment checked after I put on my winter wheels and they said they couldnt align it because i had a bad ball joint. Told me dealer about it and they highly doubted it with only 30,000 miles. I took it into the dealer yesterday and they said sure enough that it was bad, so they have to order those in and they are going to replace both front ball joints compliments of gm. Im even dropped on springtech springs too, that could be your issue as well because my car pulls really bad and it makes sense since the drivers side ball joint is bad and it pulls to the left, well that is my kinda lil rant and possible answer for you as well, good luck at the dealer!

The clunk was still there before the springs but my friend installed them in his shop.

the thing that sucks is that i dont have time to take it to a dealer bc of school and work

If you are out of warranty, then don't take is to the dealer. You can, but it's just expensive. Go to a local CarX or similar shop. They can do front suspension work very well and much cheaper then a dealer can, and they won't try to blame the problem on your lowering springs. You should expect that you will need:

front struts
alignment
possible new front tires depending on how long you have been that way

It was silly to not get an alignment after you installed your springs. It is required.

For future reference, Firestone offers lifetime alignment service for a one time fee of $160. After that every alignment is free. Got it for my cavalier, and will get it for the balt sooner or later.

well the dealership just called me and told me the problem with the clunking noise was that my right control arm was bent and the tie rod bolt (i think thats what it was) was loose and effected the way my steering was and thank god i took it in bc if the bolt fell out i wouldnt be able to steer my car. They think i hit something but i was in an accident in the past and I think the guy who fixed my car (was not at a dealership) didn't really fix it but rather put parts together quickly to make a few bucks. Now i am under the impression that i have to pay for a new control arm now bc he didnt say it was warrantied which ****** sucks. Other than that the car is fine and the service guy is going to call me back and let me know about everything and what i have to pay to get my car back. So far i ave to pay for an alignment=90$ but not sure what else there is. Hopefully not that much so i can get my 2.5" pulley on the car lol

bad news for me today. 5 minutes ago i found i have to pay 495.XX for this ****. ****** A!

^^ i have no idea but does anyone know if I can go after the shop that fixed my car bc ever since they fixed it a while back the car has been making that suspension clunk noise. The guy basically stole our money and didnt even fully fix my car and i am soo pissed right now bc with school and bills, I cant ******* pay this **** anymore for this car. Im thinking about selling my car bc this has gotten me into too much trouble and swallowed alot of my money on damage.
