My Shift knob Fell off

I searched for another thread like this but everyone says the top part falls off but my entire shift knob came off in my hand while i was racing. So does anybody know what the dealer will tell me. i just stuck it back on.

mine fell off to..... just get a new one from wal-mart for $10 and screw it on...

broken shifter for teh win!

My pattern fell off my SS but no matter how much I beat on my shifter it doesn't budge. The knob well off in my hand once though. Same day the pattern came off before a trip up north ...
