I have a 2.4 out of an 07 ss na that had a sc kit put on it and i also have a 2.0 lsj that i destroyed the crank in....is it possible to swap heads since i cant use the vvt on the 2.4

 

so you want to run the 2.4l bottom end with the 2.0l head in an ss/sc?

the 2.0l head on the 2.4l bottom end isnt a problem, that works. the issue here will be the crank reluctor wheel is clocked differently between the 2.0l and 2.4l so the 2.0l ecm isnt going to run it.

 

So all i need is a ecm from the 2.4

 

and the complete engine harness. at that point you should just keep the 2.4 head so you keep the vvt. your also going to have to deal with the differences in clutches and transmissions (i cant remember whats involved with all that).
