Need Help!!!!

Ok well i was just driving around and i could feel my car lost some power. my exhaust wasnt as loud my super charger whining was awkard. so i drove home barely i lost so much power i down shifted and my car started bucking. NO engine light is on. my coolant tank blew the cap off and leaked every where. But my coolant temp still read around 180. felt like i was running off 2 cylinders. engine isnt knocking either. im clueless. drove fine yesterday and part of today. I knew something was wrong cause i was hitting 15 psi. my only mods are k&n cold air and ark performance cat back

well some one told me water may have gotten into the intake and into the engine. so i took off the intake turned it on and still running with no power. so i went out today and got a new air filter, new spark plugs, oil and oil filter. my engine is NOT knocking. but when i checked the oil this morning there was barely any in there. I changed the oil no more than 500 miles ago. no sensors are going off. so im gonna go service it and go over everything and if that doesnt work.

How do i fix a clogged cat if thats the problem????

you have to go get your cat beaten out if its clogged, or just remove it

I have been seeing this happen a lot lately on different types of cars.

You melted your CAT most likely. you need to get a new downpipe.

And stop driving it until you fix it. I'm dead serious about that.

Also a good suggestion. If you don't want the cat just bash the insides of it out and put it back on, provided that you did not damage your flexpipe.

that oil could just be from over heating burn off, the engine is lacking exhaust flow creating extreme temps.

just a thought..

yea there was about 3-4 quarts left after i drained it out. i serviced the hell ou tof my car new k&n filter, oil change, new spark plugs, coolant, brake fluid. and no change so i realy need to find a new down pipe.

Whats everyones opinion on A CAT-LESS down pipe or a HIGH-FLOW CAT down pipe?

well it could be the same problem I'm going threw. Something is getting restricted. your intake maybe blocked or got water into the motor. your cat might be clogged.

Although my car did not send any DTC codes. no engine light came on.

I had the same problem. first it started as my intake wasn't sucking enough and my exhaust was being restricted. For now i would not drive it if the conditions continue. if its under warrenty call gm. mine how ever is not under warrenty any more so im doing all my repairs. which means im on the ground with the car jacked up trying to take my down pipe off.

ok have some new problems now!!!

codes:P0172 - bank 1 system to rich
P2228 - Barmetric Pressure circuit low
P0068 - MAF/MAP sensor - probly cause i messed with my intake yesterday

But anyone know how my 1st bank is running to rich? What the hell is Barometric pressure circuit and why is it low??????
