on heres the story i got my car feb 9 of 2006 and heres every thing that ive done to the car " even normal maintainence" i dont know what to do dealer cant get the car to do half the problems here they all are!

1. gas tether broke 03/20/06
2. blower motor went 03/20/06
3. blower motor replaced 03/30/06
4. oil changed 04/06/06
5. squeak in the front of car “dealer said it was dirt” 04/12/06
6. thump in front wheel has flat spot and rim was bent “dealer did nothing” 05/18/06
7. oil changed 07/30/06
8. mass air flow sensor came replaced 07/31/06
9. passenger side mirror assemble replaced 09/11/06
10. 18,000- miles-front tires wore unevenly 10/24/06
11. passenger side back bumper clips were missing/ replaced 11/02/06
12. tires were replaced , 2 wheel alignment done 11/06/06
13. brakes rotors warped 12/20/06
14. blower motor replaced 12/20/06
15. brake rotors resurfaced 12/29/06
16. oil changed 12/30/06
17. blower motor making noise again/ informed Ken Wilson about cruse control accelerating bye its self “they didn’t even look at it”02/14/07
18. cage in blower motor repositioned “ still makes the noise”02/21/07
19. pulsation when braking “on hills” 02/21/07
20. car inspected 02/23/07
21. contacted Gault Chevy about a brake problem “ braked failed to work, had to down shift then pull e-brake to stop car almost got hit my a semi-truck dealer would not get me a loaner car while car would be in shop so car didn’t go in because “I need a car for work”2/24/07
22. brakes failed again/ brakes also locked up and skid almost wrecked car /ABS light on now/ dealer replaced ABS sensor 03/01/07
23. cruse control accelerated by its self dealer could not duplicate/ stated gault that the brakes were making a grinding sound 03/01/07
24. seat belt “driver side” replaced do to retractor broke 03/23/07
25. car shut off by its self on I- 88 at 75 MPH while using cruse control all lights shut off “ it was around 10pm”03/23/07
26. brake vibration “lugs were loose” “not to chevy’s standards” 03/23/07
27. car tried to stall RPM’s dropped to zero almost “wrecked car again” 03/27/07
28. RPM’s dropped again almost resulted in a t-bone accident 03/28/07

Either take it to a different dealership or lemon law that ****. It sucks, but to have problems like that, you deserve better. Either get reimbursed for a new Cobalt, or get your money back and buy an STi.

Seriuosly, I don't know about that. The recurring safety problems are bullshit, that car is unsafe to drive. Call GM and bitch. I dont have the number to customer relations anymore, but get it from your dealer.

check and make sure you are still under warranty. if you are you should still be able to get help. i'm most likely gonna file a lemon law on my brakes.

type ny lemon law and see what you can get.

wow im sure if you show that to a lemon law lawyer he will tell you there is something that can be done, also go back to the dealer and tell them they need to help you or your getting a lawyer, that might help

the dealer said if i get a lawyer then cant work on my car any more " im 20, 21 in 10 days" they wont do anything for unless my partner who is a bit old and a cop comes with me then as so as my partner says ok this is happening they do it "they also have BMW and toyota dealer ship all in the same block and there chevy cust are on the low end of service so ive been **** on and i tried the trade thing lol thats funny i woe 15,550ish and for trade anyweres will only offer me 11,000 i cant have my payments go up that much i would have to get a aveo to beable to pay for the payments lol
