new intake check engine lt now?

just put a new injen intake on my 06 ss. it usually ran a constant 12 lbs of boost. now at about 4500 rpm's it falls down to about 9. and i have a check engine light. has anyone had this problem? please help

my advise to you is to send back the piece of crap intake and buy a quality one. ebay **** is not what you want. here are two good vendors you can buy QUALITY parts from. douche bag

make sure your MAF sensor is in right

its fine now i got it cleared just didn't have time to adjust itself to the new airflow..thanks though btw to the people who are smart asses.. my injen intake works just the same as your preciouse zzp typhoon intake when i have a zzp stage 2 kit. k the **** don't make a difference and it wasn't an ebay special. some people just wake up in the morning look in the mirror and smile thinkin.. wow my hair looks great and i'm a ****** looser.. hahaha

your stock? if so that may be it or you put your maf in bass akwards. (ass backwards for the slow)

no.. i had kenny ross chevrolet put my stage 2 on today since i didn't want to mess with it and they said its fine showing no codes.. you can't put the maf in backwards theres only 2 screws it can only go in one way!

yeah and theyre opposite angles so technically you can. good thing the sensor has an arrow on it

debadged trunk. this weekend do the sides
18" enkei ev5's
20%window tint
triple gauge pod
glowshift gauges "went cheap but olwell"
hid headlights and fog lights 8000k
new bfg 235/40's
injen intake
and as of todayyyyy.. zzp stage 2 kit.. thing runs nice.. and i can't believe this many miles are on it... makes me lol
sold my mustang for this.i miss it. but. i think it was worth it.. and no it wasn't a v6 mustang peoples

X2 i flow tested the injen filter, spector filter, and the fujita filter all from cobalts and the specter beat the injen by 40+cfm and the Fujita out flowed the injen by 100+ cfm all tested on the same flow bench.

thanks for the info.. i probably am going to switch the intak something else since i put it on it feels so sluggish and jerky at low rpm. its drivin me nuts. but like i said i got the stage 2 put on today and wow what a difference.

Know how you feel about the stang. Got rid of my 400 hp 5.0 for the cobalt. Definitely have some occasional regrets but love the cobalt and it is much more practical.

well mine wasn't 400 hp lol.. but it was still fun 96 cobra vert. miss it. but i think the cobalt would have beat it now if i had them side by side.. the motor was gettin pretty tired

yeah my stang would probably take most cobalts out there but i dont miss getting 6 mpg. The cobalt is also by far a lot better looking ride.

i had an lt1 6sp put in mine.. actually got me like 20mpg's if i cruised in 6th. lol and as far as the cobalt... the gas mileage blows.

Yeah I have found that as long as I drive nicely and dont let the supercharger kick in it gets really good gas milage but you know how hard that is to do.
