So i drove from pa to va this weekend. On way back my boost wouldnt go up past 5lbs so i couldnt get up past 60 mph. So i stopped at a repair shop and them do a diagnosis and it said cyl 1 was dead and cyl 3 wasnt good. So he said replace the coil packs. Had a hard time finding anyone have them but infound. Didnt fix the issue. Has anyone else a problems. What did u do to fix it. Thx

 

I clogged cat would cause this, but you should hear the boost bleed off.

Any CEL?

Yes the codes are P0171,p0300,p0455

 

Doesnt sound like that. Pretty much when i grt up 4000 rpms it hesitates and can only drive it in 3rd gear

 

Evap issues for the code p0455, but not sure if that would limit you to only driving in 3rd gear. Not sure what you mean you can only drive it in 3rd gear. Can you not select any other gears? or at cruising speeds just not enough power in 4th or 5th rpm range?

 

I got all 5 gears. Just have to cruise in 3rd gear. The evap code ive always had. Could never find the leak.
