Ok ive been going awhile now with no power steering and in the city its getting annoying what could my problem be . It worked up until my ECM went bad and the mechanic replaced it , But it would come and go sometimes before also ! PS the mechanic also switched out my box under the hood with all the fuses in it , said he never but It has the junk yard numbers on the side , I have no error codes coming up on the dash or a check engine light for the power steering .
2005 cobalt SS SC Stage 2 , 2 door ..And the power steering motor was replaced 2 years ago under warrenty and it hasnt worked for almost a year ....

 

Take it back and tell them to replace it again

 

They told me no , You think thats what it is tho the power steering motor

 

Call your local better business bureau and get yourself a case started. You shouldn't have paid for anything until the job was complete and everything wrong was corrected.
