Just thought I should update about an issue I had a couple of weeks ago with my 2.2L
I came out one morning (after a flash-freeze overnight) and the engine would not turn over. Battery was fine, fuel was good, but the starter would tick away and the engine just wouldn't kick over.
Had to get it towed to the dealer and, of course, it started just fine for them.
All they could suggest was update the firmware on the ECU.
Nothing else has happened since, aside from my engine idling higher now.

Yeah, I highly doubt the reflash had anything to do with it. They really couldn't explain it - I guess they just had to come up with some kind of "fix".
In my opinion, if there's a firmware upgrade it should be provided free (or at least really cheap) to car owners.
