No start but has power.

A couple days ago for the first time my cobalt (2009 lnf) tuned with Boltons, started to act funny. My airbag light came on and the car wouldn’t start. Turned the key and like a dead battery, but a couple warnings came up and my rpd wouldn’t turn on. So I got warnings for “power steering” “service airbag” “service esc” and my wipers will only work on high speed now along with the Little lock and car in the corner of display. After a couple try’s of starting. Putting key in and out it will prime fuel pump and rpd will turn on, and will start up easily. Runs and drive perfectly fine. I’m going to check for codes tomorrow, but is there anything specific I should look for?

I ran the codes and it had some lost connection codes. I’m thinking something on bottom of fuse box or a ground like you say, has airbag codes and passenger detection codes

Have you had the fuse box removed recently?

Not recently, but it was replaced a while ago. I’m thinking of taking it out and spraying electrical cleaner on all the connections

I took the fuse box out, cleaned all the connectors, cleaned each fuse individually, then took off the bcm connectors on the passenger side fuse box and clean each out those connectors and fuses individually, still have a solid theft light and will start the odd time, I’m thinking of just taking it to the local gm dealership

It actually turned out to be something very simple, I was using the key from before the ignition recall and it became unpaired from the car somehow. Just used the new keys and has been working great for a while now
