OEM germany oil filter

i was just wondering where i could get the OEM oil filter that came with the car. It looked like it was really high quality and it was made in germany.

The OEM filter that came in my car from the factory was made in USA.

yea i went to the dealership and the one they showed me wasnt the one that was in the car when i bought it

mine came with the german one too... a filter's a filter though. As long as you don't by a $1.50 filter you should be good. The ac/delco filter is good at a good price. Go to the dealership

The factory Hengst filter is nothing special, the AC Delco filter will work just fine.

i could see the lsj having a made in germany filter as the engine is assembled in germany along side the saab 2.0 turbo lk9

Wasn't that just the earlier ones? By 2006 all the LSJs I was seeing at the dealers had the domestic content sticker saying Engine - USA. Maybe there were some of each.
