Oil Consumption Thoughts

Hi yall, looking for some input.

2008 Cobalt 2.2L, automatic….236,000

I’ve owned it since new, it has lived a life of luxury. Runs and drives like a champ. Doesn’t smoke at all, shifts perfectly, no oil or transmission fluid leaks, everything still works. Full synthetic oil changes at 50%, (oil is cheaper than an engine rebuild, why not). I’ve slowly replaced all engine sensors over the last 8 years with OEM.

I’m starting to lose around 2 quarts of oil between oil changes, been getting worse over the last couple years. I’ve cleaned the intake manifold orifice, blew through the head port. Replaced the intake manifold. No change. Oil pressure sensor was weeping, replaced…no change. Front and rear crank seals seem fine. No valve cover or oil pan leaks. There’s oil in the intake manifold, some air coming out of the oil fill but it’s not enough to blow the cap off. It doesn’t smoke on start up or going down the road. I’m stumped.

thoughts? Is there stuff for the PCV in the valve cover itself??

it’s the work car and paid for so whatever but still
