It looks like its coming from higher up, poke around the top side of you engine and tranny and see if you can find a source. If thats not it then it may just be a bad seal on the tranny.

see i was thinking tranny fluid, but it looks goldy brown, not sure on what the tranny fluid in these cars looks like tho. Old vehicles were a definite red colour. This makes sense since i was at the track the other day. . Had two clutch slips going from first to second, so maybe thats what caused it. Thanks a lot for the input guys appreciate it.

Edit: hard to tell with those pictures, the flash may be giving the oil a somewhat reddish tint making me think it's tranny fluid.

Looks like oil, possibly from your oil filter housing. If u had an oil change done recently, check and see if the plastic cap that holds your oil filter is tight/cracked?

clean it all up and then drive it around for a bit then recheck to see if you can see the source....this will be an easier way to get to the source rather than just guessing with the fluid all over the place.

The 5th pic looks like fluid leaking from the differential.

I dunno about the SS/SC but on my GT, there is a filler cap at the top of the trans just to the right of the oil filter housing. Maybe check the cap and the filter housing for tightness.

just a little update on the prob... let the car sit a night and the leakage stopped. put it in the garage and waited about 5 mins and no fluid on the floor. Then took the car out warmed it up and did some 0 - 60 launches and drove around town a bit. came home parked it in the garage and the leak fired up again, the spot i have circled and X'd is where it seems to be dripping from. Is this in fact oil or a part of the tranny. Looks to be the gasket has gone and when put under pressure is leaking, as once the car is right cooled down it stops... weirdness, surprised no one else has seen this as lots goto the track on here... car goes in tomorrow to the dealer for its doctors appointment so i'll have concrete answers on the matter soon. any more ideas or clarification is welcome.

also the vibrations from my torque brace are not noticable anymore, don't know why... i think the plates have bent where the ingalls bolts into the pressure plates. Put pics up tomorrow. Can't beleive it bent already its only 3 weeks old. I'm confused on the whole matter tho... I just know it used to vibrate pretty good when i started the car before and let it idle and now its like the brace isn't even on there.... anyone else had problems with the brace holding up ?

lol first time tho ... wanted to get some times down stock so i can compare as i mod the car... I don't think i'm going to be there a whole lot, but it is a good way to see ur performance, also a little addicting i'm afraid tho .... its a performance car so i want it to be able to hold up either way ... let yas know the official outcome when i find out... something to watch for if ur driving hard or at the track ...

UPDATE , The Service Guy was saying it may be a crack in the rear main seal, so they have to take the engine right apart to determine if it is or not... gonna be a couple days... * sigh .
