Oil light + loss of power!

Hey, maybe you guys could help me out. I was driving perfectly fine the other day when suddenly the car dies and i have to quickly pull to the side of the road. Now the oil light is on, car turns over but doesn't start. Still have power going to everything. Not leaking anything, oil level is full. What do you guys think this could be?

car isn't seeing oil pressure. Check the harness on the oil pressure switch. If it looks fine, the switch itself might have gone bad.

The car is allowed to crank, because that is what starts to build oil pressure. Since it isn't seeing any pressure, it wont allow the car to start and run
