ok this is BS

not even 5000 miles and ive got my traction control light coming on and off whiel driving, on top of that ive got my check engine light on all the time! this is just plain BS...didnt think id have probs like this with a chevy, a new one at that! now i gotta take off work and lose money to take this thing in...any ideas or suggestions?

whats it look like? and is that a standard option?

i nailed it earlier and a green light flashed on my dash real quick, couldnt tell what it was...

actually its yellow, almost like a horse shoe with TC in the middle and a slash over the TC...i know thats the traction control light b/c if i drop it down in 1st tha light comes on...thats how u shut off the traction control...but im in drive and it comes on and then goes off and then back on again...just BS ya know

i think it means.....2 more weeks until spring! ...lol jk.....take it in.......i know that things like that shouldnt happen on a new car......but......yea its a pretty new car and they do have bugs. my Ebrake light goes on for 2 seconds sometimes...once in a while....

haha...ok...check engine light went off tonight, hasnt come back on...i have an appointment monday to take it in...well at my work we have one of those scanners, and i thru it on and it said "system too lean(bank 1)" im guessing that has something to do with the cylinders, no? and the traction control light doesnt come on anymore....BUGS! ugh! lol

Gas Cap

This is an old one but if the gas cap is not on fully the check engine light will come on, it has happend to me with my trailblazer a few times, just a thought!!

ok this is really BS...haha! took her in for her appointment...had them check out the check engine light...also told them about the traction control light...the guy asked if i had underbody lights, he said those will make the ABS and T/C light come on and go off b/c of the power surge, or something like that, dont quite remember the exact words...well anyways, the reason why my check engine light was coming on, not b/c of the gas cap, but b/c the oil dipstick was not completely in! WTF! so they had to "reset oil dipstick" gladly, it was taken under warranty! HAHAHA maybe you guys will get a kick out of that one, but will also be good reference if someone else is having or will have this prob in the future
