ive posted before about my toasted clutch, busted slave cylinder, and oil leaking from the rear main seal. after getting the car back and driving it for a week, i find it to still be leaking oil from the bell housing area, and now the blower is rattling and theres tire noise, like a wheel is out of balance
so it went back to the shop today and awaits inspection from a gm regional representative before they take further action
i figure, this is the 2nd strike for the same problem. if i have to take it back a 3rd time i will be inclined to lawyer-up and try for a buy back. this car has more f-ing issues than readers digest.
anyone have similar problems or experience with the lemon law / buy back policies?

I work at an auto aucton and we had 2 SS/SC both 06's that were Service Buy Backs (lemon lawed) for tranny probems so it is possible.
One piece of advice is if you still like the car they are more likly to buy it back if you hop in another one or at least another GM.

well they "think" the transmission case is cracked so they are going to replace that. part is on order. i think they are stabbing in the dark. getting real tired of this real quick
clutch replaced yet again, along with a whole new tranny and they cant get the damn thing to run. each person i talk to has a different story of what they are doing. the service mgr said they just needed a "special tool" to install the trans
they were able to install the trans the first time without this "special tool" so i believe im being fed bullshit. the car was pushed outside for a day and now is back on the lift. regional GM rep is coming again
i wish gm would recall every SS/SC and put in a different type of transmission
not looking good at all for GM or this car.
</end rant>

i am lucky so far that they havent tried to deny any warranty work, however i still am worried that they will try to pull that BS on me if/when more problems surface. i'll ******* go off on them.
bringing this back from the dead, rather than make a new post where nobody will know wtf im talking about...
got the car back after a month in the shop. new tranny and another new clutch assembly courtesy of GM. upon inspecting it before re taking posession, i found what looked to be auto tranny fluid on the tranny case at the union of the tranny seal and bellhousing
it was leaking gear oil before. im hoping they didnt confuse this tranny for a Getrag and put ATF in it.
however its running good now, minus the red residue on the tranny which i am watching closely.
they blamed the s/c noise on my K&N without even driving it. so that pissed me off a little but i do feel better after seeing that almost everyones s/c is making a little bit of noise and some noise like mine is a normal occurrence.
the road noise/vibration/wobble is gone, and they mentioned not being able to duplicate the customer concern on the service order.
im pretty sure they just screwed something up the first time and fixed it w/o admitting anything.
