Outside temp is wrong

I have a 2008 SS/TC and am having a problem with the outside temperature displaying the correct value. Now I know this isn't a major operating problem but I would like it to work correctly. The temperature displayed on the DIC occassionaly gets stuck at the wrong temperature. Sometimes it is 66 degrees, sometimes 97. The exact value is very random, you just never know. Living in Georgia the temp could be as low as 67 in the early morning and then be up to 87 by 10 a.m. and hitting the 90's by 2 pm. Most days it works fine, others, well it is a crap shoot. Any suggestions?

Let me clarify. Not only does it not show the correct temp, but it stays at that temp even as the day warms/cools.

Yes, I agree, it is a dealer poblem, and I will be taking it there. I just wanted to see if anyone here could shed some light, maybe have the same problem.

Thanks to all.

I had the same problem exactly with the temp. It also read much higher than actual outside temps by at least 25 degrees. It was covered under warranty and it was the sensor that had to be replaced.
