P2138=Limp Mode=me angry
Saturday night I was driving, and The check engine light came on and went into limp mode. I looked up the DTC on my Interceptor and it was a P2138, which is an P2138 Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 1-2 Correlation ECM, PCM. After I cleared it, I made it home. Well today I was driving to work and it appeared again. I tried to drive it to the dealership but i couldnt make it there, so I cleared the code. I have an appointment for 12:00 to take my car there. Hopefully the code comes up again so that they can fix it. Do you think that they will hassel me for having a CAI and a Cat-back exhaust? Has anybody else had issues with this? I searched and didnt come up with much.
We have seen issues similar to this a couple times now. Don't worry about your mods. I was able to get a TPS error code when I fiddled with my throttle body wiring harness once. Loose wire. Just let the dealer look at it first. If the code doesn't come back, just tell them the code and that you cleared it already.

yea, i took it to the dealership, and he's like "you shouldnt have cleared the code" "we cant do anything with out the code". I told him that it was a p2138 and that its a throttle position sensor. I asked him if he could have someone just take a look at it, and he's like "I cant do anything w/o a trouble code" I told him the ***** f**king trouble code!!! I understand that they use the trouble code to trace back to the issue, but the least that he coulda done is take a fu**in look at it!
