I wouldnt belive it if it wasnt ACTUALLY happening. Muffler #2 is rattling after about a week. The guts are loose.
I have used pacesetter in the past and NEVER had this problem.... This is the 2ND muffler from pacesetter on this car that is rattling due to loose baffles. Im going to try to get another one tomorrow.
Damn I hate this muffler.

Well Im going to try to get a flowmaster tomorrow. Any suggestions on mufflers to replace the Pace *******? The mandrel bent pipes are ok....the muffler is about as pleasing to the ear as a can full of bolts.

Well, I got a flowmaster installed today, then I took the car and cleand and painted the WHOLE exhaust with very high temp. ceramic paint and baked it according to the instructions.
The flowmaster sounds great, and the paceRATTLER muffler is on top of my toolbox. I am going to get in touch with pacesetter and see if I send the SECOND muffler back to them, can I get a partial refund.
Anyway, a word of caution, the pacesetter piping is great, but damn the mufflers rattle!!!!
