hey. im new to cobaltss.net, but so far i think its an awesome site cuz everyone here really loves their cobalt just like i do. but ill get to the point now.i have an 06 ls 5 speed, and about 3 months ago, i was driving in the rain and as i was going around a curve a Tc comes out of nowhere driving like a f***ing madman. he's obviouslly going way too fast cuz his car starts spinning and losing traction.unfortunately he starts drifting toward my car, so i hit the brakes.bad idea.my tires all lock up and i starrt spinning too.i end up pulling a little more than a 720 and slam through a street sign and a tree.by this point the Tc has stopped and has sped away loike nothing ever happened.anywayz, i put my car in the shop for a little over a month getting everything fixed.i got it back in jan and everything seemed fine.now 2 months later, whenever i put it into 2ng gear just driving normally i get a terrible grinding sound.its almost like im trying to put it into gear without the cluth all the way in except im not.the only way it doesnt grind is if i accelerate in 1st and then push in the clutch and wait a few seconds and slowly put it into 2nd.has anything like this ever happened to anyone else? im sort of a noob when it comes to things like this so any help would be more than greatlly appreciated.also im sorry if someone has already posted a thread about this that i was unaware of.
