This is actually funny. The more you guys go on about your cars being everything, especially to your girls\women, you just give them the target for pissing you off the most. It is just a car and one day it will let you down.
Bottom line, charge her or just fix the mirror. Simple
As for her motive there is likely more than you telling her to move. We guys tend to minimize our role\actions to feel better when bad stuff happens.
